Shandong Upper Unions New Materials Co., Ltd. is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and human rights principles in its operations and supply chain. We firmly oppose all forms of modern slavery, forced labor, and human trafficking, and adhere to international frameworks such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Global Compact, and International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions.
Our Commitments
Prohibition of Forced Labor and Slavery
We strictly prohibit the use of forced labor, debt-for-service, or involuntary labor, including debt slavery and human trafficking. All employees must be employed voluntarily and have the right to terminate their employment in accordance with the law.
Prohibition of Child Labor
We will never tolerate the use of child labor at any stage. We comply with the legal minimum age requirement (16 years or older) and ensure that workers under the age of 18 are not placed in dangerous working conditions.
Fair Employment Practices
We guarantee wages equal to or higher than the local legal minimum wage, provide clear pay waivers, and ensure that working hours comply with national laws. Overtime must be voluntary and adequately compensated.
Humane Treatment and Non-Discrimination
We are committed to creating a workplace free from harassment, abuse, or discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, religion, or other protected characteristics. Employees are respected and treated with courtesy.
Supply Chain Due Diligence
We require suppliers to comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct, which explicitly prohibits forced labor and human trafficking. We conduct risk assessments and due diligence to monitor and mitigate risks in the supply chain. Suppliers may be required to join platforms such as Sedex or the Ethical Trade Initiative (ETI) to enhance transparency.

Employee Empowerment
We respect our employees' rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining, within the bounds of the law. We also maintain open communication channels, such as grievance mechanisms and whistleblower policies, to protect employees who report problems from retaliation.
Implementation and Training
To ensure compliance, we integrate this policy into our procurement processes and employee training programs. Management and procurement personnel receive training on identifying and responding to risks of slavery and human trafficking. We also conduct regular audits and require key suppliers to explicitly agree to anti-slavery clauses in their contracts.
Continuous Improvement
We are committed to continuous improvement in our efforts to combat modern slavery. This includes regularly reviewing our policies, collaborating with industry initiatives, and publicly reporting our progress.
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and suppliers of Shandong Upper Unions New Materials Co., Ltd.
